Success through training – CPHT Edinburgh

Building a successful Hypnotherapy practice with hypnotherapy training

Singing up to our Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma training is the first step to becoming a fully-qualified hypnotherapist. In just 10 months you’ll have built the skills to open your own private practice… exciting and a little scary, I know being a former student.

However, the Clifton Practice Hypnotherapy Training course not only teaches you therapy techniques but also how to go about setting up your practice and successfully marketing it. Here’s just a few of our tips to help get you started.

Send a press release to your local paper
If you want to get the word out about your new business (and for free) you can send a press release to your local press. The key to a good press release is to keep is short, simple and finding a good angle. Will your practice be the first in the area? Is it the first to offer Solution Focused hypnotherapy? Something like this will grab attention and make it more likely for you to be featured.

Build a simple website
Nowadays the first place we go to find information is usually the internet, that’s why it’s so important that you have a website for your practice. It doesn’t need to be a fancy affair,  just something that tells potential customers what hypnotherapy services you provide, how you can help them to overcome their problem and how they can get in touch with you.

Ask for client testimonials
Good reviews are proven to drive new business so make sure you get your customers to send you feedback. They will be able to sell your service much more than you ever could by showing potential customer how you’ve helped people over come the problems they face. Shout about your good reviews on your website, marketing materials and social media … which is our next tip.

Create a social media presence
A Facebook page and/or Twitter account is a great way to keep in touch with potential customers. Whether it’s sharing some testimonials, telling them about any promotions you have/events you’re hosting or sharing things that you think will be of common interest it will help to keep people engaged with your business.  Attending a little training from a professional is also a great way to learn and keep you up to date with the ever changing social media platforms.
